  • No prior experience is necessary! We offer beginner and intermediate workshops, and each class starts with a review of basic techniques, so you’ll feel comfortable with the steps and materials.

  • Each workshop is designed for you to leave with a finished project and the skills to create more on your own! Inspiration often strikes in the learning process when you start to understand the different stitches and see ways to apply them.

    We will always have finished project samples for you to see and feel for inspiration, as well as additional images to flip through to stir up more creative ideas.

  • Just yourself! Our workshops do pair nicely with a friend or two, and maybe screenshot inspo, or a glass of wine. Don’t forget reader glasses though, if you need them to see those finer details.

    All materials are provided for each workshop, including embroidery hoops, fabric, thread, needles, and any other specialty items like felt or beads.

    You’ll also receive a printed guide to the stitches we cover, so you can continue practicing at home.

  • Absolutely! If you’d like to bring your own fabric or a piece of clothing to customize, feel free to do so, especially for the Upcycling & Creative Mending workshop. However, we also have everything you need in class, so bringing materials is completely optional.
